Tree Felling
We are experts at tree felling & dismantling trees of all sizes, even in very enclosed spaces. We use rigging and lowering equipment to ensure a controlled and safe dismantle in challenging locations, e.g. overhanging greenhouses or sheds, so no damage is caused to surrounding structures or the general public. Tree removals are necessary if a tree is dead or diseased, poses a risk to public safety or has outgrown the space it occupies.
Tree Pruning
There are various ways to prune and pollard a tree to maintain an even balance and safe condition. This involves the removal of any parts of a tree by various means: crown reductions, crown thinning, crown lifting and deadwood removal. We take extreme care to make sure the trees we prune look natural and well balanced.
Tree Planting
We can source and plant a wide range of trees and shrubs. Our team will work closely with you and can help you select the appropriate species for your needs. We are happy to provide free advice on tree aftercare following the planting. We can also help with relocating pre-existing trees and shrubs to new areas to help transform your garden.
Crown Reduction
We will carefully prune branches to produce a smaller crown whilst maintaining the natural shape of the canopy. This will achieve a sensitive size reduction and is particularly recommended for trees that have grown too big for their environment and may be causing loss of light or potential damage to a building.
Crown Lifting
Crown lifting involves the removal of lower branches to a specified height. This procedure will help to produce more daylight passing through a tree and increase light levels to the surrounding area. It will also enhance space in a limited area to allow people and vehicles to pass safely under the tree.
Crown Thinning
This method is ideal for clients who are happy with the size and shape of their tree but require a less dense crown. This is attained by the selective removal of dead, dying, secondary and rubbing branches to thin the canopy and allow more light and wind to pass through the crown without changing the overall size or shape of the tree.
Deadwood Removal
The removal of major deadwood from the tree’s canopy will encourage its health and growth. It is advisable to have your tree regularly inspected to check if any individual branches have died. The removal of these will support the tree and prevent potentially hazardous situations with dead branches falling to the ground.
Stump Grinding
Our powerful stump grinding machinery will grind and remove stumps of all shapes and sizes. We are fully trained to grind stumps below the surface of the ground to allow for replanting or to prevent the regrowth of the previous tree’s root system. We guarantee a quick, eco-friendly and affordable service, either as part of the tree felling process or for pre-existing stumps that are no longer required.
Hedge Trimming
We can trim, shape or cut any size hedge and in any location. Hedge trimming and reduction is completed with accuracy and precision, and is essential for controlling growth and maintaining healthy shrubs. We have all the equipment and skills necessary for all aspects of hedge trimming, hedge reduction and hedge removal to help give your garden a fresh makeover.
Ivy & Climber Removal
Ivy and wisteria can get out of control without proper maintenance, causing potential damage to your property and guttering. We are widely experienced at reducing, shaping and removing climbing vines from buildings, gutters, plants and trees. You can rely on our expertise to help resolve your ivy issues.
Cable Bracing
Our tree surgeons can install cable bracing to support trees with structural defects. This will help prevent major tree limbs from falling and damaging your property, vehicle and land. Cable bracing will also ensure human safety if a tree presents a risk to the general public. It is essential that cable bracing systems are regularly inspected at least once a year following installation.
Tree Assessments

Our team has a wealth of experience with site clearance projects. If you are working on a domestic or commercial development site, we can help you to remove unwanted trees and vegetation. We offer specialist equipment and expert knowledge on which trees can be retained. Our site clearing services have been used by building companies, property developers, managing agents, construction corporations and people seeking help redeveloping a site.
Wood Chippings
We are happy to deliver wood chippings to our customers. These can be used for mulching flowerbeds, lining paths and decorative purposes. They are also perfect for helping to suppress weed growth. Wood chippings can be used all around the garden at any time of the year.
Seasoned Logs
We can supply dried hardwood and seasoned logs for your stove or fireplace. These cost £60 for a bag weighing 1 tonne. We offer a free delivery service for customers in……… Customers who live further afield are welcome to contact us to arrange a pick-up location.
